Spoiler: we don't use cookies. Here's the full story.

Most websites make you click "Accept All Cookies" before you can use them. We built Current Tools so you never have to see that popup. Enjoy the web, cookie-free.
Cookies are small text files that websites store on your device. They can be used for essential functions (keeping you logged in), analytics (tracking which pages you visit), or advertising (building a profile of your interests). Most websites use them extensively.
We choose not to. Here's how we handle each category:
Used for core functionality like logins or shopping carts. Our usage: None. Current Tools has no user accounts, no logins, and no payment processing.
Used to track visitor counts, page views, and user behavior. Our usage: None. We don't use Google Analytics, Plausible, or any other analytics service.
Used to build profiles for targeted advertising. Our usage: None. Current Tools has zero advertisements and zero advertising partners.
Used to remember preferences like language or theme. Our usage: None. We don't store preferences server-side. Tool preferences use your browser's localStorage, which stays on your device.
Some Current Tools tools use your browser's localStorage to save your work (timer state, to-do list items, invoice drafts). This is different from cookies:
You can disable localStorage in your browser settings. Most tools will still work, but some (like To-Do List, Notepad, Habit Tracker) won't save your progress between visits.
Some image tools load JavaScript libraries from CDNs (Tesseract.js for OCR, gif.js for GIF creation, JSZip). These CDNs serve static code files — they don't set cookies on your device. However, as standard HTTP requests, the CDN servers may log your IP address. See our Privacy Policy for more details.
While Current Tools doesn't set cookies, other websites do. Here's how to manage them:
You can block all cookies, allow only specific sites, or clear cookies automatically when you close your browser. Each browser has different options.
If we ever decide to use cookies (highly unlikely), we'll update this policy from zero to whatever is needed, and we'll be transparent about every single one. Our commitment to being cookie-free is permanent.
Have questions about our cookie-free approach? We'd love to hear from you:
